Noah Heylen

Hi! I’m a Belgian researcher, artist and OSINT analyst examining how computational infrastructures shape perception and power across borders, platforms, and culture. My work spans geospatial investigations, video essays, reports, and digital archives, but also artistic research on material aesthetics (like throwaway vapes and military simulations), networked subcultures, and online polarization.

I’m completing an M2 in sociology of international politics at Université Paris Nanterre and did a BA and MA in Media Art at School of Arts Ghent. I have managed and curated media art programs and lectured on internet art history.

Currently based in Paris, I’m researching AI applications in border surveillance in Northern France, and writing a thesis on the impact of prediction markets on media and media consumption, using a social/media-historical lens and network analysis.
